Georg Trogemann, born in Bamberg (Bavaria), since 1994 Professor for Experimental Informatics at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne. He studied computer science and mathematics at the University of Erlangen, doctorate 1990. In 1997-1999 and 2004-2006 he was the Academy’s Vice-Rector of Research and Infrastructure. His main research interests are Experimental Algorithms, Philosophy of Technology and Theory of Poiesis.
